This is an Airfix 1/48 Scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the Supermarine Spitfire PR Mk XIX, a photo reconnaissance variant of the venerable Spitfire single-seat fighter aircraft developed by R. J. Mitchell. Mk XIX Spitfire was the only dedicated photo reconnaissance Spitfire fitted with the Rolls Royce Griffon-engine, giving the type a top speed of 400 mph.
